Ryan Lochte apparently is all about aggressive fashion statements at the Olympics.
You may or may not recall, but the United States swimmer showed up to the 2012 Summer Olympics and made headlines with a diamond American flag grill in his mouth.
Lochte’s tricked-out teeth also was an issue in London, as there was some question as to whether he could take the medal stand with the stars and stripes on his chompers.
There won’t be as much of an issue if Lochte gets to the medal stand this year in Rio, though. But Lochte still might receive some puzzled looks regardless.
That’s because the two-time gold medalist is debuting a new hairstyle just in time for the Games. Lochte unveiled what he says is a “light blue” hair color, which happens to look an awful lot like grey.
We’re not entirely sure adding those kinds of chemical to your hair is a great idea, especially considering all the chlorine swimmers already deal with, but we do know we’ve never been so thankful for swim caps.
