Kevin Garnett is kind of a scary dude. Between his yelling and his trash talk, even some NBA veterans couldn’t help but be intimidated by The Big Ticket throughout his illustrious career.
Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams, for example, was willing to bend the truth just to avoid having a verbal confrontation with Garnett.
The big New Zealander’s strategy? Telling KG he didn’t speak English.
Sounds foolproof. Although Garnett seems like a smart enough guy. It probably didn’t take him too long to catch on to Adams trying to pull a fast one.
