Talk about a comeback.

Chicago Cubs young slugger Kyle Schwarber tore two ligaments in his knee on April 7, just three games into Chicago’s eventual 103-win season and march to the World Series. But after pushing through his rehab, Schwarber managed to get into some Arizona Fall League games over the weekend and was activated from the disabled list in time for Game 1 of the World Series against the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday.

He made the Cubs look smart, nearly blasting a home run with his team trailing 3-0. The ball landed just below the top of the fence, and he legged out a double for his first hit of the series.

Pretty cool.
