Nov. 22, 2012 is a night New England Patriots and New York Jets fans won’t soon forget, although for two very different reasons.

For Patriots fans, it was a great Thanksgiving. Your team crushed one of your biggest rivals 49-19, and you got to laugh hysterically when their quarterback, Mark Sanchez, made one of the most embarrasing plays in sports history — The Butt Fumble.

For all those same reasons, it was a night Jets fans would like to pretend never happened.

But it did happen, and it touched all our lives in different ways.
