It wasn’t exactly a no-doubter right off the bat, but Xander Bogaerts still got it done.

The Red Sox shortstop hit a solo home run in the top of the third to open Boston’s lead to 3-0 against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night.

It was Bogaerts’ fifth round-tripper of the season.
