After closing out the regular season with three straight wins, including Sunday’s 4-3 shootout victory over the top-seeded Washington Capitals, the sixth-seeded Bruins will take on the division-rival Buffalo Sabres in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Game 1 will take place Thursday night in Buffalo’s HSBC Arena. The B’s won the season series with the Sabres 4-2.
