Tom Brady recently signed an endorsement deal with Under Armour, an athletic apparel company known for its tough, gritty ad campaigns. Now, he’s joining up with an Australian shoe manufacturer known for its fluffy sheepskin boots for women.
UGG is apparently trying to expand into the male market, and Brady has agreed to become the face of that endeavor, according to USA Today.
“This partnership marks a new season for UGG Australia, and Tom Brady is the ideal first endorser for the brand,” said Angel Martinez, CEO of UGG’s parent company.
“He embodies the stylish casual attitude that is at the foundation of every product we make, and is as much a style icon off the field as he is a playmaker on it.”
Brady will also consult on “product inspiration” for the brand. He said that he was excited to be a part of the UGG family on Tuesday.
“I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time,” Brady remarked.
