If Jets fans have something to celebrate after Monday night’s game against the Patriots, they've got one drink option that directly supports their team.
According to ESPN.com, the Jets released a wine in September called Jets Uncorked, a 2008 cabernet sauvignon.
The team looked at eight wineries in Napa Valley before settling on winemaker Marco DiGiulio and marketing agency Wine By Design.
Eight thousand cases of the wine were made and can be purchased through the Jets website or at stores in the New York area.
The NFL allows teams to create a wine for special occasions, such as the opening of the Jets' New Meadowlands Stadium.
"We wanted a 100 percent cabernet, that seemed appropriate for football," Matt Higgins, the Jets executive vice president for business operations, said in September. "And we wanted it to be so good even a Pats fan would drink it after tearing off the label."
Of course, if the Patriots pull out a win, the wine still might come in handy for Jets fans.
