Once again, a Kardashian is relying on someone else for fame.
Kim Kardashian, engaged to NBA free agent Kris Humphries, is currently filming a spinoff of the E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians based off her wedding preparation and other parts of the lives of the newlyweds-to-be.
Humphries, who spent last season with the New Jersey Nets, is still a free agent as the NBA continues labor discussions. Without a team — and more importantly, without any team's consent to participate in the reality show — Kim won't have her new series, according to the NY Post.
If Humphries can land a deal — especially with the Nets — that would allow him time to film the show. However, the filming will be folded into Keeping Up with the Kardashians if a deal cannot be reached.
