A popular refrain from the Bruins' dressing room this spring was "Full 60 to History," meaning it would take a complete 60-minute effort by the club in order to accomplish hockey's ultimate prize.
Indeed the B's fulfilled their word, claiming the franchise's sixth Stanley Cup in June and ensuring fans' memories would last longer than just 60 minutes.
On Thursday, a book commemorating Boston's championship season went on sale. "Full 60 to History: The Inside Story of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins" details everything Black and Gold from the 2010-11 season, including pieces from Bruins coaches and players, insight into personnel decisions from general manager Peter Chiarelli, speeches made by head coach Claude Julien and much more.
The book is currently on sale at the Boston Bruins Pro Shop inside TD Garden, at select Fan Zone locations inside the arena concourse and online at bostonbruins.com/full60. The book will also be available at 77 AT&T Stores across New England beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Those who purchased the book online during pre-sale can expect the item to ship on Monday, Dec. 12.
Future Hall of Famer Mark Recchi, an alternate captain for the B's last season, will be at the AT&T Store inside Braintree's South Shore Plaza on Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. to meet fans and have copies of the book autographed. Recchi wrote the book's afterword.
