One of ESPN's brightest stars is on her way out of Bristol.
SportsNation host Michelle Beadle will be leaving ESPN after her contract expires, the network's president John Skipper announced at the ESPN upfront presentation Tuesday.
SportsByBrooks.com reported last week that Beadle is leaving ESPN for NBC Sports. She's then eventually expected to join Access Hollywood as a co-host, according to Sports by Brooks. She'll reportedly help out on the network's coverage of the Olympics this summer as well.
"Michelle did a great job," Skipper said at the upfront presentations, according to USA Today. "We love Michelle. We wish her well. We're sorry she's leaving. We worked hard to try to keep her but she has some different aspirations."
ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews' contract is also up. She's still in negotiations with the network, Skipper confirmed Tuesday.
