Will Ferrell was back in front of the camera at an ice rink again. Only this time, it wasn't for another Blades of Glory.
The actor, who lives in Los Angeles, is a big Kings fan and was at the Staples Center for the Kings' 4-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday. Ferrell met up with the NHL Network's Kathryn Tappen on Monday night, where he predicted the Kings would win the Stanley Cup over the Devils in five games.
In the interview, Ferrell said the feel of the city has changed.
"It's fantastic. It almost doesn't feel like you're in L.A," Ferrell said. "It's like you're in a totally different crowd and, dare I say it, the noise level blows away any Laker game by far."
In a city where the Lakers have reigned as the supreme sports franchise, the Kings' fan base may be growing with the team's chances at its first Stanley Cup. Forget Jack Nicholson — the Kings have a Hollywood fan of their own in Ferrell.
