Will Middlebrooks, Ryan Lavarnway and Ryan Kalish Still Learning Major League Ropes (Video)

Will Middlebrooks, Ryan Lavarnway and Ryan Kalish are the young studs of the Red Sox, and although they were at one point or another thought to be the top prospects in the Red Sox organization, they are still adjusting to major league play.

The jump from each level in any minor league system is a big adjustment. The players are more experienced and the competition is harder. But when the time comes to make the leap from Triple-A Pawtucket to Boston, success isn't going to immediately come on an everyday basis. There will be struggles and droughts, just as Middlebrooks is experiencing at the moment.

Jerry Remy caught up with Dale Arnold on Red Sox First Pitch to discuss the situation Middlebrooks, Lavarnway and Kalish find themselves in. Check out their discussion in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
