As just about every NBA fan knows, Vince Carter's time with the Toronto Raptors did not end well. The superstar swingman and the franchise soured on each other by Carter's seventh professional season, and early in the 2004-05 campaign the Raptors traded him to New Jersey.
Before the unhappy dunker was shipped out, though, he and head coach Sam Mitchell purportedly had an altercation in the training room during Carter's final season north of the border. The incident was unknown to the public until now, thanks to ESPN's Jalen Rose.
