Two top ten SEC matchups shook up the AP rankings this week when South Carolina trounced Georgia and Florida upended LSU.
The Gamecocks moved up three spots in the rankings to No. 3, while Florida moved up six spots all the way to No. 4. Georgia dropped from No. 5 to No. 14 while LSU stayed in the top ten, dropping five spots to No. 9.
Alabama remains the top ranked team as a unanimous No. 1. Oregon stuck at No. 2 after beating Washington handily 52-21. The Huskies dropped out of the top 25 with the loss.
West Virginia also moved into the top five, jumping three spots to No. 5 after outlasting Texas 48-45.
The top ten rounds out with Kansas State at No. 6, Notre Dame at No. 7, Ohio State at No. 8 and Pac 12 surprise Oregon State at No. 10.
Next week, South Carolina has another tough matchup, having to travel to Baton Rouge to take on the Tigers. We very well could see another rankings shake up next Sunday.
