For the last decade, eager members of Red Sox Nation have been able to spend some time during the holiday season at one of baseball’s most hallowed grounds: Fenway Park.
After celebrating 100 years of the ballpark in 2012, some lucky Red Sox fans will have the opportunity to drink some hot cocoa at Fenway and spread some holiday cheer on Dec. 1.
“Christmas at Fenway” offers those in attendance the opportunity to purchase the much sought after Sox Pax ahead of the general public, along with special ticket opportunities throughout the day. Current players Andrew Bailey, Pedro Ciriaco and Ryan Lavarnway are scheduled to attend, along with former Red Sox greats. They will be signing autographs and talking with fans throughout the event.
Other highlights are random ticket and experience giveaways, and roundtable discussions with players and team staff. Go to redsox.mlb.com to enter the chance to attend “Christmas at Fenway.” Registration lasts until Monday, Nov. 26 and winners will be notified via email.
