Thanks to a third period comeback, second-ranked Boston College defeated No. 5 Harvard 2-1 in Tuesday’s women’s Beanpot semifinal game.
Harvard scored early in the third period, thanks to first-year forward Mary Parker‘s tremendous goal as the result of a great pass from teammate Gina McDonald.
However, the Eagles came through with a rally in the closing minutes of the third. Freshman forward Dana Trivigno and third-year forward Taylor Wasylk scored consecutive goals, giving BC the miracle win.
The Eagles will look for their second Beanpot crown in three years in next week’s final.
