Renaldo Balkman and Latrell Sprewell have one thing in common: Neither is playing in the NBA anymore. They now have a second thing in common after Balkman flipped out and tried to strangle a teammate during an altercation.
Balkman was arguing with a referee during a game in the Philippines’ pro basketball league when teammate Arwind Santos tried to intervene. Balkman did not take kindly to the interruption, and the two players began shoving each other before Balkman reached for Santos’ throat.
Balkman later apologized for the situation.
I wld like to apologize to the fans, Petron Blaze, my teammates, the PBA and especially @tubidronald71 and @Arwind029
