The biggest takeaway from the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship tournament may be Alex Buccilli‘s crazy batting stance.
The Coastal Carolina outfielder starts with his feet at completely different ends of the batter’s box, his body crouched and his bat up. It’s the most open batting stance that the box will allow.
The stance appears to be working. Buccilli is batting .280 on the season with one home run, 27 RBIs and six stolen bases.
