J.J. Worton saved UCF’s season in miraculous, one-handed fashion.

UCF’s position atop the AAC was in serious jeopardy on Saturday afternoon after lowly Temple, a team with only one win on the season, had the Knights on the ropes late in the fourth quarter. With the Owls putting up a heck of a fight, leading 36-29 with 1:06 left to play, UCF needed some magic and Worton made sure his team got it.

In one of the most spectacular catches of the year, UCF quarterback Blake Bortles connected with Worton, who hauled in the diving, one-handed grab to tie the game at 36. The Knights eventually wound up winning in regulation, preserving their BCS bowl chances in the process.
