The Eagles’ issues on the gridiron boiled over to the sidelines on Sunday afternoon.
Philadelphia struggled mightily against the lowly Vikings (4-9-1), and in the third quarter, the ugly play got even uglier as DeSean Jackson‘s frustration boiled over into a meltdown. The wide receiver was visibly angry after Nick Foles threw his second interception of the season when trying to connect with Jackson during the third quarter.
Jackson headed to the sideline to vent his frustration, jawing at his teammates. Jason Avant appeared to be the main recipient of Jackson’s verbal assault. The fiery wide receiver eventually had to be held back by his teammates, as Riley Cooper, Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy all intervened and tried to defuse the situation.
