If a UEFA Champions League for goal celebrations ever existed, Estonian soccer team Nomme Kalju would be among the leading contenders to lift the European cup.
After scoring the opening goal in his team’s 1-1 draw against FC Flora on Saturday, Nomme Kalju’s Hidetoshi Wakui grabbed the ball and called his teammates to one corner of the field.
Nine of them came over, lined up in the shape of a set of bowling pins and waited as Wakui started one fantastic goal celebration.
We hope Nomme Kalju’s talents take the club into the group stage of the real Champions League one day — if only to imagine the possibility of seeing something like this on the big stage.
