Doug Martin Roddy WhiteThe third installment of NFL “Thursday Night Football” will be without some considerable star power on both sides.

Ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ matchup with the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome, the Bucs have deactivated running back Doug Martin, while the Falcons have deactivated wide receiver Roddy White.

Martin practiced this week after sitting out Week 2 with a knee injury and was listed as questionable on the team’s Wednesday injury report, but NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Thursday afternoon that the running back was unlikely to play Thursday night.

White’s absence is slightly more unexpected, as the 32-year-old veteran played in his team’s first two games this season and has only missed three games in his 10-year career, all of them coming last season. White was also listed as questionable on Atlanta’s Wednesday injury report with a hamstring injury.

Martin and White are obviously both key fantasy players, so make sure you check out our “Thursday Night Football” sits and starts for advice on how to adjust your lineup accordingly.
