Before Marshall begins Conference USA competition, it will look to improve its 2014 record to 2-0 Saturday night against Rhode Island.
The Thundering Herd dominated MAC opponent Miami (Ohio) 42-27 in Week 1 led by senior quarterback Rakeem Cato. He threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns, and he should have similar success against a Rams team that went 3-9 last season and isn’t expected to improve a whole lot in 2014.
