INDIANAPOLIS — Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has changed his tune.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick proposed that the NFL should allow teams to challenge any call on the field during last year’s league meetings, including penalties and judgement calls. Arians has come around on the proposed change.

“Last year I thought it was kind of a weird recommendation that everything was reviewable,” Arians said Thursday at the NFL Scouting Combine. “I’m kind of believing in Coach Belichick now with everything should be reviewable and you get three. You pick and choose, whether it was holding — any play that judgement was involved in, I think I’m going for that one now.”

If the proposal passes, it’s unlikely to extend the length of games, since teams still would be allowed the same number of challenges.

Belichick’s proposal to extend the height of goalposts passed at last year’s league meetings. If support continues to build on his replay proposal, he could have another one passed this March.
