There’s nothing easy about the book-writing process, but it’s certainly a rewarding experience, according to Jack Welch.

The former General Electric chairman and CEO discussed how he and his wife, Suzy Welch, came up with and co-wrote “The Real Life MBA: Business and Baseball,” during a Wednesday event that also featured Boston Red Sox owner John Henry.

With the two of them both describing themselves as perfectionists, Welch revealed that a single chapter can go through up to as many as 60 drafts.

Check out the video above to hear more from Welch. The “Baseball and Business” talk will air in its entirety Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NESN.
