Celtics-Cavaliers Playoff Schedule: Game 1 Set For Sunday In Cleveland

The Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers will begin their first-round playoff series Sunday, April 19, the Celtics announced Wednesday.

Tipoff time for Game 1, which will be played at Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena and broadcast on ABC, is set for 3 p.m. It will be just the second nationally televised game of the season for the Celtics, who enter the playoffs as the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavs will host Games 1 and 2, with Games 3 and 4 being held at Boston’s TD Garden. If necessary, Games 5 through 7 would be played in Cleveland, Boston and Cleveland, respectively.

Here’s the full series schedule:

Game 1 at Cleveland: Sunday, April 19, 3 p.m., ABC
Game 2 at Cleveland: Tuesday, April 21, 7 p.m., TNT
Game 3 at Boston: Thursday, April 23, 7 p.m., TNT
Game 4 at Boston: Sunday, April 26, 1 p.m., ABC
Game 5 at Cleveland (if necessary): Tuesday, April 28, TBD
Game 6 at Boston (if necessary): Thursday, April 30, TBD
Game 7 at Cleveland (if necessary): Saturday, May 2, TBD
