Julian Edelman is a modern-day Renaissance man.
The New England Patriots wide receiver made his acting debut Wednesday with the release of the “Entourage” movie and released his own “Star Wars” parody trailer earlier this offseason.
On Wednesday, though, he took his talents to Symphony Hall, where he starred as the guest conductor of the Boston Pops.
No, seriously.

We’re no experts on conducting, but we’d say he looks pretty legit.
Edelman’s cameo was part of a special night for the Pops, which also performed a new musical arrangement of “All About That Bass.” If only Rob Gronkowski were there to witness that one.
