UPDATE (7:40 p.m. ET): Michael Vick officially is a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

ORIGINAL STORY: Michael Vick reportedly is on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ radar.

The 35-year-old free-agent quarterback will meet with the Steelers on Tuesday, according to multiple reports. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first with the news.

Schefter also reported, via a source, that Vick’s visit is happening because Steelers backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski will undergo surgery after dislocating a finger on his left hand.

Vick spent the 2014 season with the New York Jets, appearing in 10 games with three starts. The Jets went 1-2 in those starts. The left-hander completed just 52.9 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and two interceptions to go along with a 68.3 passer rating. He also rushed 26 times for 153 yards last season.
