Liverpool is hoping a trip to Carrow Road can revitalize its Premier League prospects.
The Reds visit Norwich City on Saturday, looking to win for the first time in three Premier League games in 2016. Liverpool has fared well against Norwich City, winning nine and drawing two of the last 11 meetings, but the Canaries pose a threat greater than their 16th-place position in the standings suggest.
Norwich City has added forward Steven Naismith, defenders Ivan Pinto and Timm Klose as well as two others since the transfer window opened earlier this month. The new additions could spur the Canaries to a higher level.
Liverpool remains slowed by injuries. Manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to choose between Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke to lead the Reds’ forward line and fire them higher than ninth place.
