With all due respect to the First Four, the real March Madness begins now.
The first round of the NCAA Tournament kicks off Thursday with the defending champion Duke Blue Devils starting their title defense against UNC-Wilmington in Providence, R.I. But that’s far from the only entertaining game on the schedule.
National powerhouses North Carolina, Kansas, Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky all are in action on the first day of Round of 64 action, as are the upset-minded Iona Gaels, Yale Bulldogs and Wichita State Shockers.
