Drew Pomeranz Wants To Keep Saving Bullpen After First Red Sox Win

Now that was the Drew Pomeranz for whom the Boston Red Sox traded.

The southpaw had his best performance in a Red Sox uniform Monday, earning his first win with Boston since his arrival nearly a month ago. The 27-year-old tossed 7 2/3 innings — marking the first time in 72 career starts he has reached the eighth inning — and allowed just two runs in the Red Sox’s 3-2 win over the Cleveland Indians.
