The Giants have gotten off to a 2-0 start with wins over the Redskins and Cowboys, but New York has done it with a handful of defensive starters on the sidelines. And now Justin Tuck, the leader of the Giants' defense, might miss one and possibly two games, the New York Daily News reports.

Tuck injured his shoulder in the Giants' 33-31 win over the Cowboys on Sunday night when he fell after being tripped by Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams. Adams was penalized for the illegal play, but it left Tuck with a partially torn labrum.

The injury apparently won't require surgery, though it could keep Tuck out for two weeks of action. Tuck also could play through the injury, but since the Giants' next two opponents are Tampa Bay and Kansas City, now is an ideal time for Tuck to rest his shoulder.
