The NFL issued a total of $125,000 in fines against the Jets on Wednesday, stemming from the team's failure to list quarterback Brett Favre's arm problem on the injury report last season.

NFL executive vice president of football operations Ray Anderson handed out fines of $75,000 to the Jets, $25,000 to general manager Mike Tannenbaum and $25,000 to Eric Mangini, who is now head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Tannenbaum admitted to the club's failure to list Favre last week and said the quarterback should have been listed as "probable" with a torn biceps tendon. Favre began the league's investigation after saying the Jets knew about the injury that forced him to have offseason surgery.
