The Yankees have set up their rotation for the ALDS, and the outcome of the AL Central's one-game playoff won't change it.

Joe Girardi announced that A.J. Burnett will follow CC Sabathia in Game 2 of the series with Jose Molina catching Burnett instead of Jorge Posada. Andy Pettitte will start Game 3 for the Yankees on the road, the New York Daily News reports.

After choosing the longer series, the Yankees will have days off after Games 1, 2 and 4 and have the luxury of only needing to use three starters for the series. Sabathia will get the start in a possible Game 4 and Burnett will start if a Game 5 is needed.

According to the Daily News, the Yankees have 23 of their 25 roster spots for the ALDS set in place, but Girardi has yet to decide on whether he will take a third catcher, a second pinch-runner to accompany Brett Gardner off the bench or a second lefty in the bullpen to compliment Phil Coke. The options remaining are Francisco Cervelli, Freddy Guzman and Damaso Marte, as one of those three will be left off the roster.

Girardi also announced at the team's workout on Tuesday that Brian Bruney, Ramiro Pena and Sergio Mitre will head to Tampa and continue to get their work in, in the event that they are needed on the postseason roster at some point.

The Yankees have until 10 a.m. on Wednesday to submit their final roster for the ALDS.
