Report: Red Sox Have Scout Watching Aroldis Chapman in Houston The veil will be lifted from the mysterious Aroldis Chapman in Houston on Tuesday, and the Red Sox are eager to see what is revealed.

The Red Sox have a scout in Houston to watch the 21-year-old Cuban phenom pitch a bullpen session, according to The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham. They're not alone, of course, with as many as 10 teams also sending scouts.

Reports surfaced on Monday that the Red Sox have already offered a $15.5 million deal to Chapman. The Globe notes that that deal was offered seven weeks ago, when Chapman was represented by agent Edwin Meija. Chapman has since changed agents, as he is now represented by the Hendricks brothers.

Two of the other teams that are expected to have scouts in Houston are the A's, according to The San Francisco Chronicle, and the Marlins, according to the The South Florida Sun Sentinel.
