Report: UFC Coming to TD Garden in 2010, Fenway Park Eyed for 2011 A Garden party is going to erupt into fight night in the North End, and one former Bostonian couldn't be happier.

Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White told the Boston Herald on Friday that the UFC has reserved Aug. 28 to host a pay-per-view event.

"Believe me when I tell you, I’m gonna bring it back this summer," White told the Herald. "I’m going to put on a show that’s going to blow the [expletive] roof off that place."

In November, Gov. Deval Patrick signed a bill to regulate mixed martial arts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

"You know how much this means to me and how long I’ve wanted to come there and how much I love the city of Boston," said White, a former resident of South Boston. "A lot of the radio stations and personal friends and some bar owners in Boston have been really good to me since Day 1."

After having the home of the Celtics and Bruins host the biggest names in UFC next summer, White wants to take his act to Boston's most beloved and historic sports arena: Fenway Park. According to the report, White wants to have a UFC event at Fenway in 2011.
