Former Nets star Jayson Williams, who still faces charges of reckless manslaughter, was "slightly injured" after he crashed his car in New York City on Tuesday morning, according to The New York Times.

The crash occurred at 3:15 a.m., and police said that Williams refused to submit to a breathalyzer test. That opens the door for a possible criminal charge, according to the report. The New York Daily News believes Williams will face drunk driving charges.

"When cops first arrived at the scene, they found the former New Jersey Net sitting in his vehicle's passenger seat — as if to make it look like he wasn't driving," sources told the News.

The News also reports that police are seeking a warrant to test Williams' blood

Williams' injury was to his head, and he was treated at a New York hospital.

In 2002, Williams was charged with shooting his limo driver at his New Jersey estate. Williams was allegedly holding a shotgun that accidentally fired a shot that hit the driver, and Williams is currently facing a retrial for reckless manslaughter.
