When the Celtics travel to New Orleans this week, the city-wide Super Bowl celebration will most likely still be raging. The Celtics, though, may not be in a mood to party after Paul Pierce was removed early from Monday's practice, according to Boston.com.

Pierce, who missed two games last week after injuring his foot on Monday night in Washington, made his return to the floor on Sunday, playing 30 minutes in the Celtics' loss to the Magic. Pierce scored 13 points while making three steals and going 5-for-12 from the field.

"He wasn't moving around very well," head coach Doc Rivers said of Pierce on Monday. "He's questionable. I think he's going to play, but right now we'll wait and see."

WEEI.com reports that Marquis Daniels, who made his own return to the Celtics on Sunday, "looked good" at practice. Daniels had been out since early December before scoring eight points in 13 minutes on Sunday
