The Rangers acquired center Olli Jokinen last week. Could Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray join him in New York?

According to the New York Post, Souray, who has a no-trade clause, would accept a trade to the Rangers before the NHL’s March 3 trade deadline.

The three-time All-Star has struggled this season, scoring four goals in 37 games. Last season, the veteran defenseman scored 23 goals in 81 games.

Besides the Rangers, Souray reportedly would be willing to play for the Capitals, Ducks Flyers, Kings or Stars.

The veteran is out indefinitely following surgery on his injured right hand last week. He is not expected to return prior to the trade deadline.
