Gisele Bundchen, a self-proclaimed "Bostonian," really loves that dirty water.

So much so, that the supermodel wife of Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady recently told Vogue that she wanted to name their son River, according to the Boston Globe.

But the Pats' play-caller made an audible as he felt that name didn't flow. So New England's most famous couple chose Benjamin Rein.

"I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal," she said. "My husband said, 'There’s no way we’re going to call him River.' But my father's name is Reinoldo, so it’s a homage to him. And it’s like water."

Bundchen also talks about her work with the Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers, and proudly stated, "I’m really a Bostonian now."

The issue will be released next month.
