Jerry Remy is stepping up to the plate with a bold new marketing venture, and it's one that Red Sox fans are sure to enjoy. According to The Boston Globe, Jerry Remy's Sports Bar and Grill has started offering season passes to Red Sox fans who want the full-on baseball experience when it comes to fine dining.

The $500 pass gives patrons special perks, including the ability to avoid Red Sox game-day lines, a guaranteed table once the game starts and a $25 food credit.

"This $500 season-ticket package can deliver an experience as close to an actual season ticketholder as possible, at a fraction of the price," restaurant general manager Don Bailey told the Globe.

The restaurant offers similar packages for Patriots and Celtics games, and Remy hopes the season passes will attract fans year-round.

The promotion has reportedly been a success, with at least 170 people already signing up to purchase the season-pass deal.
