Logan Mankins, under no contractual obligation to show up for Patriots offseason activities, is holding out of team workouts until there is movement regarding his contract.

In accordance with the current restricted free-agent system, the Pats offered Mankins the one-year, $3.268 million deal in February. Because he has yet to sign the tender, he isn't required to participate in any offseason activities, including the workout program currently going on at Gillette Stadium. According to the Boston Globe, Mankins is at home in California.

The fifth-year player is one of 212 NFL fourth- and fifth-year veterans that would have been considered unrestricted.
