'Dancing With the Stars' Dreams Come to an End for Erin Andrews It was a good run for ESPN's Erin Andrews, but ultimately, the competition proved too tough.

Well, tough is a relative term there, considering we're talking about dancing.

The ESPN reporter and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, finished in third place, with Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls edging figure skater Evan Lysacek in the finals.

Considering she was up against a man who dances on a sheet of ice and a woman who dances and sings on stage for a living, third place isn't all that bad.

The sanctity of card collecting is at stake. Were you aware?

"This card is not his ROOKIE card. His toe hasn't even touched the rubber in the Majors yet. As an avid sports card collector, it is exactly this kind of pre release, get it out first, insert mania, type of BS that is ruining card collecting. His first REAL rookie card will be the first card that comes out AFTER he throws one pitch for the Nationals (you know, a team in the MAJOR League)!!"
–Chester

"'ruining card collecting', whats next? The destruction of stamp collecting? The extinction of butterfly collections?"
–Eugine Geekstrom III
