For many, a nice birthday weekend includes time with family and friends, maybe some golf and likely some relaxation. If you're the leader of the free world, though, it means the opportunity to play basketball with some of the best players the world has ever seen.

President Barack Obama turned 49 on Aug. 4 and to celebrate, the commander in chief planned a sports-filled weekend that culminated Sunday with a star-studded basketball game that featured a roster of NBA greats from the past and present.

According to reports, Obama and a host of NBA stars played for about two hours at Fort McNair in Southwest Washington.

Among the stars reportedly in attendance were LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Magic Johnson, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Celtics great Bill Russell — just to name a few.

The game was played in front of a worthy audience as well. Injured troops and members of mentoring programs were among those treated to the basketball exhibition.
