Report: Aaron Schobel To Retire

The man who has sacked Tom Brady more than anybody else is done with football.

While the decision was apparently tough for Aaron Schobel, he has decided to retire, reports John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Schobel had expressed interest interest in playing for the Texans just two weeks ago, and he even spoke with head coach Gary Kubiak last week.

The Seattle Seahawks were also interested, and rumors of the Patriots wanting Schobel had surfaced as well.

With the return of Derrick Burgess, the need for Schobel may have been mitigated, but the defensive line will need help — or players to step up — with Ty Warren out for the year.

Schobel had 78 sacks during his career.
