Brett Favre and Javon Walker played together in Green Bay from 2002 to 2005. Both found themselves potentially out of the NFL this summer.

Now, they are back together in Minneapolis, reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Walker and Favre did not always get along on the best of terms, as Favre, ironically, criticized Walker for skipping camp in 2005.

Walker has had two 1,000-yard years, including his best season in which he caught 12 TDs and 1,382 yards on 89 receptions delivered by Favre.

He has struggled with injuries over the past three seasons, catching only 41 balls in that span.

Minnesota's receiving corps is crowded — featuring Percy Harvin, Bernard Berrian and Sydney Rice — but health concerns about Rice and Harvin have surfaced.
