Lars Anderson will be in the Red Sox starting lineup for the first time in six days when they take on the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old rookie has appeared only once as a defensive replacement since going 1-for-3 with a walk in Boston's win at Seattle last Wednesday. He can take a cue from several veteran Red Sox hitters on how to approach Baltimore starter Brad Bergesen.

Marco Scutaro, J.D. Drew, David Ortiz and Adrian Beltre are a combined 22-for-60 (.367) with five home runs and 11 RBIs off Bergesen, who is coming off a complete game win against Toronto.

The rest of Boston's batting order is 1-for-14 against Bergesen.

Here is the complete lineup in support of righty Clay Buchholz:

Marco Scutaro, 2B
J.D. Drew, RF
Victor Martinez, C
David Ortiz, DH
Adrian Beltre, 3B
Jed Lowrie, SS
Ryan Kalish, CF

Lars Anderson, 1B

The orioles will start like this behind Brad Bergensen:

Brian Roberts, 2B
Nick Markakis, RF
Ty Wigginton, 1B
Luke Scott, DH
Matt Wieters, C
Adam Jones, CF
Felix Pie, LF
