3:05 p.m.: Antonio Gates is in fact active for San Diego.

12:05 p.m.: Chris Cooley will not play, given his concussion. James Harrison, despite his mini-retirement, is in fact active. Karlos Dansby is in as well. Justin Gage is out with a hamstring injury, while Kenny Britt will be playing despite his night-club incident. Dunta Robinson's hit on DeSean Jackson will keep Robinson out of the action as well on Sunday. Antonio Gates remains a game-time decision.

11:55 a.m.: Todd Heap is active for Sunday's game against Buffalo despite his concussion, as is Josh Cribbs. Colt McCoy will start for Cleveland. Derrick Mason, Peyton Hillis, Ray Rice and Vernon Davis are all good to go.

11:48 a.m.: Steve Smith is in for today, as is Dante Rosario. Earnest Graham is out, but Kellen Winslow is officially good to go.

11:40 a.m.: Trent Edwards will be active despite his thumb injury, but Todd Bouman will start. He will, however, have Mike Sims-Walker to throw to.  Michael Vick would have been the number three QB, but he is inactive.

11. a.m.: Concussion victims DeSean Jackson, David Garrard and Mohammad Massaquoi are all out of Sunday's action, while Chris Cooley's status is still up in the air.

Some of those ruled out for today's action for other reasons include Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush, Clinton Portis, Fred Taylor, Seneca Wallace, Chaz Schillens and Nate Kaeding.

Dallas Clark, though on a bye, is out for the year, and Austin Collie will be out for a few weeks.

Questionable Hackeem Nicks says that he will play, and Todd Heap is in the same boat. Concussion victim Josh Cribbs will likely play.

Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee are likely out for San Diego, meaning Patrick Crayton and Buster Davis will be the main targets, and Ryan Matthews will see a lot of the ball. Antonio Gates is a game-time decision.

Vince Young and Michael Vick may be active, but neither will start. Kerry Collins and Kevin Kolb will be doing so.

Kellen Winslow, Donald Driver, Vernon Davis, Ray Rice, Chris Johnson, Dez Bryant, Steve Smith, LeSean McCoy, Brent Celek and Peyton Hillis are listed as probable, but should be good to go.
