Randy Moss Participates in First Day of Practice With Vikings Randy Moss has pulled on the old purple jersey, retaining the same number worn back in his early years with the squad – No. 84.

Moss showed up for his first day of practice with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, making his renewed debut at Winter Park in Eden Prairie, Minn. Moss first stopped in for a news conference, saying he's thrilled to be starting his second stint with the team that drafted him in 1998.

His teammates are thrilled as well, many of Moss' new teammates said they woke up to the news and couldn't be happier about the latest addition to their team, and quarterback Brett Favre is also excited to have a new option in the Vikings arsenal.

Onlookers said you could see the smile beneath Favre's helmet as he was throwing to Moss in practice, we'll see how well the pair plays together in the upcoming matchup against the Jets on Monday night.
